Why It’s Different?

Made with Arriba Nacional Cacao grown in the rich volcanic soils of Ecuador. Nacional is an heirloom variety that can trace lineage back 5300 years!  It was one of the most coveted varieties due to it’s floral fruity aroma and complex flavor profile until disease wiped out all the crops in 1916. It was thought to be extinct until 2016, when they were rediscovered growing wild in Ecuador and through great effort have since recovered.
