Pineapple Aged White Balsamic

Our golden pineapple balsamic is sweet, zesty and tart with a delicate infusion of fresh pineapple.

Salads and sides: With Harissa Olive Oil or Cilantro and Roasted Onion Olive Oil for a noodle salad; with Persian Lime Olive Oil for shrimp salad

Marinade: mix with soy sauce, ginger and our Garlic Olive Oil for tofu, seafood or short ribs; Persian Lime Olive Oil for shrimp; Baklouti Green Chili Olive Oil for Steak or Pork; Chipotle Olive Oil for tofu, steak or chicken. Beverages: in sparking water, or to make Piña coladas

Pairings:Persian Lime, Cilantro and Roasted Onion, Baklouti Green Chili, Harissa , Garlic, Basil, Chipotle, Herbes de Provence or Blood Orange Olive Oil

Our golden pineapple balsamic is sweet, zesty and tart with a delicate infusion of fresh pineapple.

Ideas:

Harissa Olive Oil or Cilantro and Roasted Onion Olive Oil add a splash of lime juice and make a buckwheat noodle salad with cucumber, diced pineapple, cilantro, avocado, romaine lettuce. *Pair with Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Persian Lime Olive Oil for a salad topped with shrimp, or make a shrimp skewer marinade. *Pair with Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Garlic Olive Oil or Baklouti Green Chili Olive Oil to marinade steak or pork. * Pair with Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Garlic Olive Oil and tamari and ginger for an Asian inspired marinade for tofu, seafood or chicken, or Korean-style short ribs *Pair with Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Nutritional Information

Balsamic quality is a function of both method and grape must density.  Our base balsamic is made in Italy.  The grape “must” from Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes are sundried to increase the density prior to aging.  Then, a small amount of barrel-aged wine vinegar is added and the mixture is aged in rotating barrels for up to 12 years using the Solera method.  Once the ideal density is achieved, the pure extract of Pineapple is added to the aged balsamic.
