Mojitos!
A refreshing cocktail, easy to make without a shaker or strainer because all the flavour is in the balsamic.
Needed for these recipes:
Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic
Vancouver Island Salt Co.- Orange and Lime Infused Sea Salt(optional)
Virgin Mojito (Clean eating version and staff pick)
Ingredients per 1 cup mojito:
1 cup sparkling water, chilled
1 teaspoon Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co Honey Ginger White Balsamics
1 teaspoon Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic
fresh mint leaves and slices of lime for garnish (optional)
orange and lime sea salt for rimming glass (optional)
- Stir first three ingredients together and garnish with mint leaves.
Virgin Mojito
Ingredients per 1 cup mojito:
½ cup sparkling water, chilled
½ cup Ginger Ale, chilled
½ teaspoon Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic
fresh mint leaves and slices of lime for garnish (optional)
lime salt for rimming glass (optional)
- Stir first three ingredients together and garnish with mint leaves.
Rum Mojito Recipe 1
Mix 1 part Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Thai lemongrass-mint white balsamic vinegar parts sparkling water or lemon-lime soda. Add rum to your desired strength. Rim glasses with Vancouver Island Salt Co.- Orange and Lime Infused Sea Salt (optional). Fresh mint leaves and slices of lime for garnish (optional)
Rum Mojito Recipe 2 (for a group)
8 ounces rum
8 sprigs of mint
5 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic
3 tbsp raw cane sugar
club soda
4 slices lime
Vancouver Island Salt Co.- Orange and Lime Infused Sea Salt for rimming glass (optional)
Preparation:
- Place ice and rum in beverage shaker.
- Add mint, lime juice, Lemongrass Mint white balsamic and sugar.
Shake well and serve over ice in glasses rimmed with Vancouver Island Salt Co.- Orange and Lime Infused Sea Salt. Top up each glass with a splash of club soda and a sprinkle of raw cane sugar.
Garnish each with a slice of lime and a sprig of mint
