Lime and Gravenstein Apple Oatmeal

Skip the brown sugar and milk and add exotic deliciousness to this classic breakfast food.

Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Persian Lime Olive Oil

Ingredients (per person)

• 1/3  cup large flake oats
• 1 cup water
• ½ a tart apple, chopped
• 4 almonds, slivered
• 1 teaspoon Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic
• 1 teaspoon Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Persian Lime Olive Oil

 Method:

Boil water and gradually stir in oats.  Lower heat, cook for eight minutes, stirring occasionally.  Add apples and cook on low another ten minutes.  In a separate bowl,  whisk Persian Lime Olive Oil and Gravenstein Apple Balsamic together.  Put hot oats in a bowl, drizzle with Persian Lime Olive Oil and Gravenstein Apple Balsamic mixture and serve.
