Prosciutto-wrapped Figs with Cinnamon-Pear Balsamic Drizzle

Figs, Balsamic, Parmigiano Cheese and Prosciutto. 4 Italian ingredients that add up to delicious.


Needed for this recipe:

Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. Aged Dark Balsamic.  Your choice of Cinnamon-Pear, Black Mission Fig, Chocolate, Vanilla, Pomegranate, Traditional 18 yr. Aged, Tangerine, Violet, Maple, Blueberry, Black Currant, Black Cherry


Fresh Figs, cut in quarters
Prosciutto slices, trimmed of fat and cut in quarters lengthwise
Parmigiano cheese, cut into slivers
Balsamic of your choice. (best if reduced.)


Place a sliver of cheese on top of each fig quarter, then wrap with prosciutto. Drizzle with reduced balsamic of your choice.

Alternately, dip the wrapped figs in balsamic that has not been reduced.
